40 years ago tonight, the last E Arborway car rolled through Jamaica Plain as a “temporary” service cut began. 5 years ago, a strong coalition fought to save the remaining streetcar through Mission Hill from the same fate. Now, we’re working to enhance it! ❤️

Happy 125th Birthday to Boston’s Colonial Theatre! My love for live theatre began in the very last row of the balcony. Thank you @emersoncolonial.bsky.social for playing such a big role in my life. ❤️

To all of my members in Division II, especially those working today, happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!!! 🦃🍽

Facebook reminded me that 4 years ago today, Boston’s newly elected leader @wutrain.bsky.social took the Green Line to her first day in office. I couldn’t be more honored to have had my members at the center of this chapter of her career! 🚃🚃

The Nova Scotia Christmas tree is officially on its way to the oldest public park in America! Thank you from Boston to our northerly neighbors for well over a century of friendship & care.

Massachusetts Republicans are so cooked that they're trying to attack Michelle Wu for "wasting" taxpayer money by visiting Nova Scotia to pick up Boston’s annual Christmas tree.

Now who's waging a War on Christmas, huh?

Five years ago today, @kenziebok.bsky.social assembled a strong coalition to fight back against a proposed elimination of the Mission Hill Streetcar & we won! Today, with a pro-transit governor and mayor, this service’s future is secure & the city has plans to improve it. Fight for what matters!

Seeing @gigi4district1.bsky.social announce that she has the votes to be the next President of the Boston City Council is a GREAT way to start a Monday morning!!! So happy to have an ally of transit riders & workers at the helm next term. #BosPoli

Last week, our union held nominations for all elected offices. I’m grateful to be unopposed in my race for re-election. Thank you to my brothers, sisters & siblings in Division II for keeping me in this position to continue advocating for transit & transit workers for the next 3 years! #WeMoveBoston

Thank you, Boston 💜

Thank you to every voter and volunteer, every candidate and campaign for strengthening our democracy.

We are the city of champions, beacon for freedom & home for everyone. At a time of challenge and consequence, Boston is going to keep moving forward.

Always grateful to stand with elected officials who are pro-transit and pro-transit workers. Boston’s preliminary election is Tuesday, and all of these great leaders (except for Dan Ryan) are up for election. Let’s stand with those who stand with us!

So the multi-million dollar effort to paint Michelle Wu as a cartoonish Scooby Doo-esque political villain is failing miserably, and I am here for it. This is great news to start the week off right!!! 🤩

Boston voters are smart & pragmatic. Let’s get this done!

Today, during Boston’s Pride celebration, we had the Pride in Transit streetcar on display. I am so grateful to have interacted with so many people about our love for transit, and the inclusive and welcoming system my members operate.

Today was pure love.

Pride began as a protest, and today was a bold statement on who we are here in Boston - a city that is inclusive & welcoming to all. @wutrain.bsky.social is at the forefront of that statement, and I’m beyond proud to be a supporter and ally!

This week, the new issue of Local 589’s newsletter was published with our endorsement of Mayor Michelle Wu. With Boston as the T’s largest stakeholder, it is important that we have an ally, friend & partner at City Hall. Michelle Wu is that ally!!!

My first summer at the T, I ran car 3706 as the lead car of a 3-car train every morning. The joy of fulfilling a lifelong dream, that has launched a career that I am proud of, is matched by how fitting it is that 3706 is serving as our Pride in Transit streetcar. Love this! 🥰❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤎🩷🩵🤍
