“I was saved by God to make America great again.”
I could totally see God thinking this was legit tactics. Floods, plagues, killing babies, disease, rape. All been done before, so why would installing Trump be out of character?

I'm not a fan of religion, but this is a religious person doing a great thing, in the face of real danger
Can you imagine the courage it took to preach this message directly to the president? This is what a follower of Jesus looks like. (Partial transcript below.)

Tried to fight my way out of a fitness slump. 50km ride nearly killed me, when it used to be a 'mid' ride. I like to blame covid, or ageing. It's highly likely it's lack of cycling though 😕

The Martian Chronicles.
It's hard to fairly review Sci-fi that was written nearly 75 years ago. It slowly built into a set of interconnected stories exploring social issues through the lens of colonising Mars. The anachronisms were charming rather than annoying. www.goodreads.com/book/show/57...

Yesterday, I repaired my hat, my hoody and my cycling top from various seam failures. Feeling virtuous and wholesome.
Actually, the cycling top had torn when a tree-branch tried to take it off me as I rode past. Suffolk's trails can be narrow and overgrown
