I finally engaged these guys who knock on my door once a month asking me to come to a Bible study and I was trying to sus out what their deal is and they just kept saying, "we're just Christians :) we're Bible believing Christians :)" which gives me maybe 30% of the picture but not enough!

Like yes but I get antsy at this line of thought because it feels like a short walk from this to the idea that queer people are primarily oppressed by other queer people who happen to be oppressed which very conveniently absolves cishet ppl of any responsibility surrounding homophobia, etc
