Just spotted that Heathrow has a twin ATC tower. I thought I'd disabled the #MSFS2024 Gaya Premium Deluxe EGLL when enabling iniBuilds, and indeed I had, but the MSFS2020 Heathrow had seemingly decided to stream itself as well.

Finnair operate the A350-900 daily on their Heathrow - Helsinki route, which we join today to a wet & apparently wintry Vantaa, certainly more "sink of hell" than "twinkly helter-skelter" (I wonder who gets that reference?!). 👍 for the A350 iniBuilds model. #MSFS2024 #FlightSim #Aviation #AVGeek

ATR 72-600 Binter Canary Island hop from Lanzarote to Gran Canaria.Once again all well until we reach the ILS. This time, pitch trim refuses to go nose down, even in manual flight- another go-around. Onwards from Birmingham in another ATR, this time Loganair to the Isle of Man- enjoying my Tunnocks! Streamdecks do make a positive difference, but changing from GPS FMS route to ILS approach once again induced some very unexpected behaviour, necessitating go-around. #MSFS2024 #Flightsim #Aviation

Braving the ATR in #MSFS2024. Aurigny EGJB-EGBB Not too bad, it behaved most of the flight, though approach & ILS non-interception required manual intervention. I now need to re-configure my Streamdecks for ATR profile, as they will I hope make cockpit descent management easier. #Flightsim #Aviation

#StormAmy flight in the #XP12 Dash8 Q400 in the retro livery (when they tried to regenerate) of defunct UK airline FlyBe between Sumburgh in the Shetland Islands and Edinburgh. Winds were strong, certainly, but from the prevailing runway direction so manageable. #Flightsim #Aviation #AVGeek

Does anyone have recent experience of trying to fly the ATR42/72 in #MSFS2024? I'd all but given up on it in 2020 with some annoying bugs and misbehaviour that had appeared since first release, when it was great fun, but I'd love to hear that it is now behaving and usable! #Flightsim #Aviation

If yesterday's Dash 8 flight stroked the back of the Italian leg, today we pivot on the ball of the foot and scratch the shin and kneecap on a flight from Crotone to Rome Fiumincino, apparently SkyAlps' top route (in figures compiled in May 2025). #XP12 #FlightSim #Aviation #AVGeek

My Windows startup photo featured Zakynthos, so it seemed a good destination. Wizzair fly the A321Neo to the Greek island from Budapest, so the iniBuilds in #MSFS2024 seemed ideal. There's a bug that makes it very hard to remove chocks, but once solved, a good flight. #Flightsim #Aviation #AVGeek

"Stroking the Italian leg". A flight from the heel of Italy (Brindisi), up the calf & thigh to a more, err, intimate destination, Bolzano in Trentino/Alto Adige/Südtirol. A bit of a stuttery flight in the Fenix A320 from Birmingham to Derry, a presumably new(-ish) real world route. A shame that the Fenix still seems to be at times a slightly less than optimal experience, for me at least, eg compared to the iniBuilds #MSFS2024 offerings. #Flightsim #Aviation #AVGeek

Some years ago I made a day trip to the Isles of Scilly, flying from Newquay. Unfortunately the weather & wind closed in & I ended up having to stay overnight. The return flight the next day was glorious, with views not unlike this. I still remember the turquoise seas! #MSFS2024 #Flightsim #Aviation

I haven't made this flight for a while but Land's End to St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly, here in a Skybus BN Islander (they also operate Twin Otters) is a most enjoyable short transfer, one of the great UK Island flights. #MSFS2024 #Flightsim #Aviation #AVGeek

Fifth Freedom flights enable real world short widebody routes; this one operated by Ethiopian A350-1000 Milan Malpensa- Zurich is the shortest example in Europe. CTD mid flight after some bad stutters, but the rest of the route could resume thanks to FSiPilot. #FS2024 #Flightsim #Aviation #AVGeek

Cruising in comfort at FL470 in the Citation X. This sector takes our lucky passengers from San Sebastian/Donostia on the Basque Spain/French border to Samedan in the Swiss Alps, a spectacular visual approach down a valley.
