I came back to it today and finished it, it was a decent sim for consoles but I'm not sure if I can be bothered to do new game plus to unlock more planes, and some are locked behind challenge mode stuff.

One last thing to clear up before it's brought up, the purple filter I apply to my PFPs is totally unrelated to the mod and I've used them as early as 2020, I make them by using this picture of shinji as a filter on my Samsung and screenshotting it to increase the effect to the desired amount.

However, you look past this, and you enjoy good writing and world building (and honestly the fan content is mostly high quality as well) and own HOI4 I'd recommend trying the mod, all it costs is your time.

I understand that the point of divergence being 6 years ago may be too recent for some people, and I understand that there are people who flock to this mod due to the extreme ideologies on display making theirs seem less unhinged, and I want to clarify that I don't fall into that group.

I had initially avoided playing the mod because it received a negative reputation for the extremist ideologies it portayed, and it does indeed portray some absolutely abhorrent ones, but I don't think it glorifies them in any way.
