Sick of people bemoaning the radicalization of politics as though it were a mystery how it started or as though only "social media" or worse the generic "media" are to blame. It started 10 years ago when tRump started blasting racist lies about Obama. It grew faster partly because of (social) media.

He says this is like surgery we just have to endure a painful recovery from but this is amputation of legs at the knees and then he is saying "dont worry because in 5 years or so you may be able to afford great prosthetics".

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory.
Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.
