The misogyny and racism on X now is chilling. Completely unrestrained. Never in my lifetime have I seen anything like it.

Remember: the US has a long history of democracy and freedom. Americans have lived with democracy and freedom, and those ideas as core principles, until now. Unlike Russia when the Soviets arose, and unlike Germany when the Nazis took power. Americans know better. My hope is they will rise again.

We need people to understand how government works. We are wildly ignorant about the 3 branches of government, who controls what, and what the checks and balances are. We need clever ideas to fix that.
