The cinematography in this one is great; a mixture of saturated neon lights complimented by the constantly wet roads.

I also like how the narrative follows three primary perspectives: the vice squad, Princess, and the killer.

While there are dated elements, I would still say it’s worth a watch*

Hey, I’ve got a good bit on my watchlist; would you like to either recommend me one out of these or add-on to it? (I’ve also got a little more.)

Now that I’m done with zambot 3, I’m trying to decide what anime to watch. I’ve got some ideas, but other recommendations would be nice as well.

Though I like ideon a bit more, this was Such a good series! It really does feel like Tomino starts to find his artistic identity with this show, also some great work from kanada and Yasuhiko. The ending was very good as well.

Almost done with Zambot 3 and I really like it. It was interesting seeing that take on super robots where there was much more of an emphasis on the destruction and casualties that they caused. You can see tomino really start to develop as a storyteller.

Just started Zambot 3 and so far it feels pretty run of the mill, but I’m thinking it’s like ideon where I’m going to have to have patience with it.

Just finished space runaway ideon. Absolutely loved it; particularly the desperation of the ideon crew and how their journey takes such a toll on them as the show goes on, and how much is revealed about the power of the ide. Does anyone have any recommendations?
