A lovely guy, one of the nicest people you could meet in a ⏺️ shop, always tried to pick out bits he thought I might like. I've met quite a few people over the years who worked over the counter & Nick was one of the best, condolences to his family, too too young. RIP mate.

I have always admired this film, there is no good/bad guy, both Harry & Scorpio are nasty pieces of work and Siegel doesn't flinch in showing this. Also it's very Antonionian is the way San Francisco is shot, maybe Don saw Zabriskie Point a year earlier & it's a kind of homage.

This is an excellent choice, your top 4 is along the same lines as mine but in a different order. The Moore Bonds now look better because time has done her thang & the late 70's/early 80's have a nostalgic feel to them. You're certainly not wrong.

It's kind of refreshing, most directors want you to ❤️ their 'art', the take it or leave it approach Bunuel gave out still astounds me to this day, I find all his films apart from the last 3 superb.

It's not that bad, time for reassessment, could do with a Blu-ray reissue here in the UK.
