i knew when i wrote this comment that it'd bite me in the ass eventually but i mean, come on, really?

to trip this, a file has to exist at the point in time of a HIST snapshot, and happen to sit straddling the exact point the containing .dat was split across patch parts in that HIST

16/17 this section was practically just pulling apart the landing gear - only ~20 steps across a few pages, but gotta do it 6 times lmao.
some of the vertical rods that the gear attach to the model with are slightly bent - hardly surprising given the extended load of all that weight.
