🩺 Healthcare is a civil rights issue. In Delaware, too many people especially Black, Brown, immigrant, disabled, LGBTQ+, and low-income communities who still face systemic barriers to care.

Oral arguments were heard Wednesday at the Supreme Court in Louisiana v. Callais, seeking to limit the voting power of Black voters in Louisiana and to dismantle one of the few remaining provisions of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Section 2, protecting against racial discrimination in voting.

✨ Birthing people in Delaware and across the country deserve uninterrupted access to reproductive healthcare including abortion. These rights should already be guaranteed, but we’re still fighting to protect them. Reproductive freedom isn’t up for debate, it’s a fundamental right.
