Comics as an industry needs to be taking better care of it's career veterans. This shouldn't still be the pattern & the path creators who give their lives to the medium have to look forward to -
With Peter David’s passing I’m thinking about yet another comic book legend who needed a gofundme to cover life saving medical care. His contributions to the infinite money glitch that has become Marvel/Disney and here he was, on a ventilator, being dropped by Medicaid and his now widow asking for $

Great JRPGs become legendary depending on their antagonist and while Metaphor Refantazio didn’t need much help becoming legendary having Louis to hunt down really helped. Easily stands shoulder to shoulder with Sephiroth, Kefka, and other great evils you can’t wait to bring down.
