In both Nutrition and exercise, doing the little things right, consistently, over time will get you far.

BUT

The opposite is also true! Build healthy habits, be healthy, build unhealthy habits, be unhealthy!

Throwing some simple carbs in your bag, some sort of sports bar as well as some sort of electrolytes, to eat & drink when you are done is an easy recovery nutrition habit that you could get into today (if your goal is performance that is)
