Today 21 states' Attorneys General filed a lawsuit seeking to stop the dismantling of the Institute of Museum & Library Services. ALA applauds this legal action by state officials who know how much these cuts would hurt their communities.

The third year of the ALA's Building Library Capacity Grants will provide up to sixteen $10K grants to public libraries assisting New Americans (immigrants and refugees).
