I BLOCK DM’s! No DM’s.

He can veto. Best bet: R’s won’t overturn his veto. Watch and see. House needs to pass with 290 and Senate with 69 to override a FOTUS veto here. But it stays in the public dialogue during this process!

Also, seems to have little to no actual
political insights or even the ability to comment creatively on tired old canards. He’s angry that R’s are perceived as “better for the economy” than D’s. And what’s his insight and proposal for changing that? Nothing. Will keep digging!

Hi DianaResists! doing my homework on Jack Schlossberg. Watched multiple TikTok videos - still searching for his 7 Vanity Fair articles & other political commentary. So far: to me, he’s boring & spends 95% of political commentary on him & his family legacy. He’s clearly milking that JFK angle.

It ran on the assumption that effective weaponization of the flaws in a deeply defective US Constitution by convicted criminals & their minions was not possible. Plenty of POTUS’s administrations have crimed deeply. Packing SCOTUS is an old idea. Buying the whole gov is a late 20th Century feat.

Ummm. Not if he were out of the closet, and homophobia were not still so fashionable. Who cares what consenting adults do in the privacy of their personal lives? Besides, Drumpf is utterly shameless. And his MAGAt minions will gladly follow him into the meat-grinder.

TY for the inclusion. And a little Cole Porter to lighten up our gloom! Wonderful! “When other friendships are soon forgot, ours [on Bluesky!] will still be hot!”

Lots more rich people have failed utterly to embrace a life of service, using their privilege for good. Take Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Thiel, etc, the list is huge. Btw - Joe kennedy was not a nice person. A Nazi sympathizer and antisemite, he staunchly supported McCarthy’s Red Scare tactics.

FDR’s actually a great model for using privilege for good. Sadly, we have no idea what a fully executed JFK or RFK presidency would have done. Historians rank JFK’s 3 yrs as meh. I do believe they intended to use their privilege for good. Schlossberg has yet to rise to service like RFK or JFK.
November 17, 2025 at 1:00 AM
FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt used their privilege to literally remake America from the ground up. FDR died in office, still fighting for his Second Bill of Rights & after launching the democratic socialist consensus that made the US the most inventive & strongest economy in the world for nearly 50 yrs

You are still missing my point: the privilege of the wealthy gives them undeserved & disproportionate access to the corridors of power & allows them to take up space that better smarter more skilled people might otherwise be in. It is aristocracy vs. meritocracy; hubris v. humility.
November 17, 2025 at 12:49 AM
They might. But they might not. They get the silver spoon treatment-regardless of real effort, talent, experience. The burden of proof and verifiable credentials should arguably by HIGHER for nepo babies. The ones that use their privilege for good are few and far between.
November 17, 2025 at 12:37 AM
Correct. Neither here in the US nor in Israel & Israeli occupied Palestine.
November 17, 2025 at 12:31 AM
We all knew this, btw. Just like we knew that SCOTUS weakening due process means NONE of us has due process rights anymore. Horrible. We are a fascist country now.
November 17, 2025 at 12:24 AM
It DOES matter. Strength of character comes from struggle, hard work, personal awareness, and knowledge of your privileges (we All have some!). Schlossberg had his whole life handed to him on a silver platter. Without ever being in the worker’s trenches, what does he know about or deeply feel?
November 16, 2025 at 9:18 PM
The accusation of “trading in on Camelot” cuts both ways here. Not the winning point that a nepo baby should launch at another nepo baby… just sayin’. That’s what we mean by vapid.

But I will read up on him now; I promise. If he can use his privilege for good, he can legitimately win support.

Very concerning that he’s unable to call out Israeli genocide in Gaza when it’s recognized globally, even by Israeli historians & humanitarian agencies. He’s either cynically positioning himself to run in a place that denies the genocide or he’s an ignoramus immune to facts. Both are disqualifying
November 16, 2025 at 9:10 PM
It’s significantly concerning that Schlossberg tracks centrist to right-leaning Dem’s and gets trotted out to use his family brand to support the same. Strike 1 on his candidacy. I’d only support someone who echoes FDR’s democratic socialism: his 2nd Bill of Rights.
November 16, 2025 at 9:05 PM
So far what I’ve read of him and by him (very small sample) is quotidian and vapid status quo. I will do my homework and learn more! Thanks for the lesson!
