Plus the accident was caused by a poorly installed trailer hitch and zero instructions were given to me when I asked at U-Haul, but that didn't stop Nova Scotia from writing me a ticket of $424 to teach me a lesson...that Nova Scotia is broke. They should have sent the ticket to U-Haul.

We weren't treated at the scene, given no indication the ride would cost us anything. I knew they charged for ambulance services because NS is horribly broke, but not once in all the years I lived there did anyone ever tell me that info. They charged me the going rate of an uninsured American.

I wish people would stop saying how free and wonderful Canadian healthcare is. Remember that really bad car crash I was in? I just got a bill in the mail for almost $750 for myself and $750 for mom, $1,500 to ride in a not an ambulance but a fire truck. No ambulance ever showed up on the scene.

I was really hoping both national guards would pull through, now Trump is going to politicize her death to punish Americans and further clamp down on their freedom. Trump has no empathy and is going to disrespect her memory to further his own goals. Trump makes America less safe, no golden age.

If anything, Trump shows the 236 year old constitution needs updating to today's standards. All the loop holes need to be closed, a vote for non confidence needs to be added. Americans need options as well so when their politicians fail to remove a criminal president they can vote to remove him.

I wonder sometime how will the US ever be progressive. Most countries have some form of universal healthcare and the US is almost by itself, still unable to switch to the metric system something the entire planet has figured out. Trump just pushes out lies and division & is awarded the presidency.

I still don't get why people vote for Trump when it is so easy to see why you shouldn't vote republican. All the republicans can do is either want to undo everything Democrats do or sell you fear, it's insulting. Democrats talk policy & social programs & they lose over fear mongering? How pathetic.

We have a president who is severely uneducated where he thinks being on the Apprentice makes Trump completely qualified as president. Hegseth is a talking bobble head TV personality who is an alcoholic. He has a lot of nerve degrading service members over their weight when Trump is a fat slob.

I feel bad for John Kelly, after a lifetime of service to have president bone spurs to have a public flogging and think you can just take his pension away. I hope when what they are doing to him fails, like most everything they do, I hope he goes after them after and make Trump and Hegseth pay.

On Monday they showed up 5 hours before the Staples opened and again, failed to deliver my packages and they would try again on Tuesday. I am literally waiting for Staples to open and now Amazon is reminding me to pick up my packages soon or they will be returned. What do I need to provide a brick?

Funny story. I switched to using a public Amazon box inside a Staples. All was fine until Sunday when Amazon failed to deliver my package. They showed up on a Sunday evening half an hour after store closing. On the tracking info it says that I need to reach out to Amazon and give better directions.

Trump's Truth social helps keep Trump anchored in his fantasy land ideals on how the world really thinks of him. Plus we would save ourselves the hassle of having to deal with a social media platform that makes Trump think the people there are like how everyone sees him.

I've given this some thought. I think Trump should be forced off his private social media ecochamber Truth Social. First, it's part of public record, anything he says he can't delete and retract. If hes forced onto public social media, the beating he will get there will let him know he isn't loved.

I feel sorry for the good ppl of the US, most of my friends are American. Should USA ever have any kind of a disaster down the road, Canada & Mexico will look at each other & ask, do we really want to help? This year 6 GOP politicians sent Canada a letter of complaint on forest fire smoke, no help!

Hmm Costco just sent a renew membership email. Welp, up to $75 now. It's borderline getting to be not worth it. 90% of the time it was for trips and cheap gas and desserts once a month from the bakery. No more travelling so that's $75 just to access their bakery, meh.

What really bothers me though is people defending the good CBP agents. During the Biden years I felt respected, everything was so straight forward. But then someone like Trump gets back in and the very same agents flip a switch and treat everyone like shit. If they were good ppl, they would quit!

And of course that one time where I asked the first genuinely nice agent at the border a question. She had nothing positive to say about her coworkers. She said most of the time they go on power trips & laugh at ruining people's vacations to pass the time when they got bored. Never saw her again.
