As a reader… I got accustomed to third person and then read first person present. Going back to third person past felt jarring. It was like going from being in a character’s head to having someone tell you about someone they once knew. I still read both, but first person is more engaging.

Short stories need to pop. Complex characters are the way to go.

Mali loves catnip. She does that loud “I’ve got a sock” meow DC used to do.

My money is on the legal system and institutions like the FBI. Congress is worthless. They’ve been handing responsibility to the executive branch for decades.

The democrats *might* fight back with strongly worded social media posts.

No one is stopping it. People used to think the CIA dealt with this kind of thing. Now we know how weak our government really is.

I like beginnings. I write more of them than ending.

I read on my phone. I choose the dark background so it doesn’t hurt my eyes. I read kindle books, using the iPhone app, and books from Apple. I even have a kindle but I never use it. Is that weird?
