On a long flight, rewatched Stop Making Sense for the first time in a while. David Byrne’s performances are so epic, but I forgot the beautiful detail of him taking off his Bug Suit jacket for a handoff to a faceless roadie, with Byrne never breaking stride.

An unprecedented first time collaboration between Ukrainian bandura player Maryna Krut, Malian kora master Ballaké Sissoko, and South African guitarist Derek Gripper culminating a stunning sold out concert at The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi. Hope this leads to more.
