𝗔𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗽 𝟮.𝟭𝟳 is almost here.
RC1 is out, and code freeze shifted focus to stability, UI polish, and reliability. 19 PRs merged, major metrics, Hop Web, REST, and database fixes landed.
Final checks are underway as we prepare for release.

First of all, Apache Hop 2.17 is coming, and this week showed it.

UI polish, safer renames and saves, clearer dialogs, CVE fixes, updated deps, and Hop Web and metadata improvements.

21 PRs merged, 24 issues closed. Quiet progress, real impact.

A big week: UI rough edges smoothed out, dialogs and toolbars behaving again, and long-standing papercuts fixed. Safer stream handling, cleaner transforms, #Azure managed identity support, better diffs, plus HTML/PDF support.

The first full week of 2026 was a quiet one for Apache Hop, in the best way.

Clearer logs, cleaner dialogs, safer pipelines, restored Parquet output, updated Beam, and key security fixes.
11 PRs merged, 14 issues closed. A solid start.

Dec 11–18 focused on stability and usability: better Parquet logical types, searchable recent projects, clearer Formula/Calculator behavior, and UI cleanups.
