BREAKING: Columbus Crew midfielder and MLS legend Darlington Nagbe is retiring after the 2025 MLS season, per sources.

Nagbe, 35, is a four-time MLS Cup winner (2015, 2018, 2020, 2023) with three clubs (Portland, Atlanta, Columbus).

Based on this FA list it seems the Timbers have picked up contract options on David Ayala, Diego Chara, James Pantemis, and Ian Smith #RCTID

All four players listed above had contracts ending in 2025 but aren’t on the MLS free agency list that just released below.
