I just took a trip to Kings Island, Dollywood and Carowinds for their winter events. All three parks had warm weather and low crowds which was awesome!

My recent project has been taking a barcode scanner and hooking it up with Kroger's API and Home Assistant to add items to my grocery list. Now whenever I throw something away, I can scan it first and it will be added to my shopping list! I made it with both a small rust program and a flow in n8n.

I went to Kings Island's WinterFest tonight. It was a lot of fun!

I got to see Cedar Point from the air on Tuesday! It was really cool.

Cedar Point closing day was yesterday 😭. The 2025 season was awesome!! Now I can't wait for 2026!

I did Cedar Point's new "The Conjuring: Beyond Fear" haunted experience last Thursday and it was AWESOME!!! It was super cool and VERY intense. A lot of the references were lost on me since I haven't seen most of the movies but the few I did recognize were identical to the scenes in the movie.

Just finished using Fedora Linux for 30 days. I was curious to try it after hearing a lot about it. Personally, I still prefer Arch. Fedora still required quite a bit of configuring and tweaking to get it working. At that point I would rather just use Arch.

Just wrote a hello world program in Rust. Time to see what all of the hype is about.
