Hmmm… I wonder if the market research went something like: What do you think of when you think of Argos? And lots of people replied “toys” because we all pored over the catalogue as kids. And they then just jumped to the wrong conclusion with the research data.

We actually hear John say this at the start of Take 3 on Anthology 4 🙂

To be fair, in cases of cancer I believe the NHS does move that quickly.

Ah I wasn’t aware of those. Fair enough then.

So you’re saying you wouldn’t have the original Yellow Submarine album as canon? That would have resulted in the George Martin tracks being unavailable then, wouldn’t it?

You could have bought it after all 😞

Ryan O’Neal: we’ve got each others bags, Eunice.
Chase: woof, woof, WOOF!
Barbra Streisand: what’s up, Dog?

I’m thinking they faked dementia because the (well-meaning) family didn’t want them to go into the care home. Not because the care home wouldn’t take them.

I read this about ten times and didn’t get it. Came back a couple of hours later and *now* I get it. A live *music* score. Not a vidiprinter giving you the latest football results. Anyway, I hope your health improves.

Haha. Yes. I was thinking, is it The Beatles? Is it ELO?

I’d never heard of them before but this is great. It’s definitely going on my Christmas playlist. Been trying to think all day what “The party’s on” bit reminds me of. I’ve got it. It’s Dear Prudence.

That was Mike Parry. Easy to get them mixed up.

The same photographer who snapped the famous VJ Day photo in Times Square. (I didn’t know this, I just looked him up on Wikipedia.) What a guy!

Is this the meet cute of Richard Curtis’ new film?

DVD, CD or book. Can’t go wrong. Oh, wait…

Objectively, taking your shirt off is an odd thing to do. When I celebrate *anything* in life, exam success, birth of daughter, winning a game, I don’t take my shirt off. OK I’m not a footballer, but this was the third round of the Carabao Cup against a lower division team, not the World Cup Final.

If I’m not mistaken that features in The Artist too.

That’s you knocked out of Whamageddon for another year.

DVDs and books used to be staple gift items. DVDs now no longer a going concern so books have picked up the slack? And books bought *for* you rather than *by* you are more likely to be given to charity unread?

That photo’s from Reservoir Dogs, isn’t it! So where’s Mr Brown?
