If it is a caring place, why does it have Farage as its MP?

It's always good to travel and taste the local delicacies.

What I am not liking is Celia, Ray and April

As long as he has paid his share of taxes, it is fine with me. I really won't take lectures from a second-rate TV presenter.

What a rail journey that is Settle - Appleby! To think Thatcher wanted to close the railway and a long and hard battle was fought by the Friends of the Settle Carlisle association - although Portillo likes to take credit for keeping it open.

Kev's acting has been excellent ... now can he go and get a job somewhere else.

Her Government created the Falkland Conflict - it only became a war when it was won. The Foreign Office ignored the growing threat from Argentina and the Ministry of Defence failed to put troops on the ground. Lord Carrington resigned and John Nott offered to.

I am sure that all of the other parties in the photographs would like to have Farage airbrushed out, as he makes their bad reputations seem worse.

We need to balance this: that without the manipulation of the nationality rules that existed at the time, we wouldn't have Kemi Badenoch🤣I am not sure that the Conservative Party would be upset if the rules were changed in retrospect and she was unable to reside in the UK.

How much did each give to the Trump Campaign which resulted in a government that produced an economy that required these lay-offs?

A politician who at 49 lost her parliamentary seat. She received (as all politicians with more than 2 years) twice the amount of redundancy pay, plus a sum to wind down her parliamentary office.. after less than 50 days in as PM she gets for life up £115,000 pa for public duties which is a disgrace

At least there is no continual cash payment to those receiving the 'BE's. But we do have Baroness Owen of Alderley who at 30 became the youngest peer for services to Boris Johnson's Government. She will receive attendance allowances etc for the time she sits in the House of Lord.

Does this mean the BBC can sue him for $1 billion, even if he admits and says sorry?
November 15, 2025 at 6:30 PM
That's a wonderful picture, and I am in awe of technology when AI manages to block out the ventriloquist, Nigel Farage, pulling the strings.
November 15, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Will we have a break with the past and some of the Trump children enlist to find in wars their father intends to start? There again, bone spurs may be hereditary like the yellow streak running down their backs.
November 15, 2025 at 6:26 PM
Indeed I would agree with the BE part, but nations do often want to honour those who have given up and beyond.
I am awaiting to understanding what Dame Joan Collins added to acting or drama
November 15, 2025 at 6:23 PM
That is disgraceful, I hope the Spanish deport them. I cannot get over the irony when you walk down the 'Strip' in Benidorm of the Union Flag bunting festooning the street, if that had been in Britain with a Muslim flag these people would be shouting that 'they don't integrate or speak our language'
November 15, 2025 at 6:20 PM
What about a George Cross for this man,he is far more worthy of being honoured than actors who have good incomes from a job they love, getting KBEs and DBEs

For most of the 70's we thought the worst she could do was snatch milk ... how naive we were.
November 14, 2025 at 8:07 PM
You needed all that hair, during the Miners Strikes & power cuts and nice Mr Heath only letting us work 3 days a week. And, of course the glorious winter of 78/9 when it started snowing on New Year's Day and didn't stop until April, with the Crems on strike - why weren't we given communal bonfires?

They pinched his exercise routine and build up to the relationship from the book of Midnight Express - some of which the film was too prudish to show.
Apparently, Kev was banged up 23 years ago when he was 27, I wonder how many mail bags he has sewn in that time.
November 14, 2025 at 6:28 PM
He missed his loving mother, who tried to kill Ross as baby and did kill Finn and James (and worst of all, the cat!). Poor Emma she could have had a loving life with Kev as they each planned to kill each other, while reading L P Hartley's The Go-Between with the past being a foreign country.🤣
November 14, 2025 at 6:24 PM
In honesty, would you want your son to be around Kev?
November 14, 2025 at 6:18 PM
What do you mean, the past wasn't all that good?
We had at times shortages, I remember sugar and bread due to strikes, the queuing gave pensioners something to do! Then there was all that good fresh air with chimneys bellowing smoke and vehicles without catalytic converters and a bit of Smog!
