I'm firmly in tinfoil hate territory with this take, but I think that domain registrars monitor search history and register domains that people search for but don't buy.

Have noticed it a lot in the past when going back to an old domain search!

Must resist buying a domain for a new idea, at least until I’ve worked out the details more 🫣
