Siege Studios trademarked "Warboot", a term used for wargaming swapmeets/car boot sales sort of thing, and issuedd a bunch of infringement notices. Which I don't think will hold water given that it's a widespread term in the UK.

Army pic of my (very) old marine army, the Eternal Champions. Chapter badge is a black sword, and they had the "true grit" ability so that most everyone has a black sword. I'm sure some people will get where the name came from.

There's plenty other crimes, and there's probably worlds where being gay is a crime, but that's not Heresy. Any Inquisitor that ran around crying "Heresy" as much as the memes do would be laughed out of the Inquistion.

I mean, Heresy is pretty clearly defined in the 40K universe - it's turning your back on the light of the Emperor. Turning to other gods, or evil xenos, or denying His divinity - these things are Heresy. Memes have ruined Heresy. It's a specific crime, and the ultimate crime at that.
