I am so with you. The benefits yoga would have had instead of the hell of trad sports we were forced into. Not just for anxious sport hating little me but all the angry sport loving pricks too. Sadly with yoga these days people seem to think “kit” is necessary, hence the Sweaty Betty fuckfest.

Ugh PE, we had a rugby teacher who used to make us dive into the mud so that we would have to shower in the open communal showers. I became an expert at forging both of my parents signatures so that I could write sick notes to get out of it.

Sometimes I need to have distance from pieces that I think aren’t working and on returning to them, a small simple addition that I hadn’t consider before, comes to light.

Without reading your caption, it feels good to me composition wise, the diagonal placement of the flowers draws the eye across the piece and I think it works. Put it away and come back to it in a week or so and see how you feel then.

The colours look better here, I think your lighting in the other picture makes the sky look too yellow so the colours become a bit too similar.
