GA-06 was a complete fucking shitshow of a nationalized race and then it flopped pretty outlier-ish-ly for the special elections of 2017-2018 being a pretty mild D shift.

Honest to god, I really need people to remember that, whatever factors got there (I.e. Matty Y being "muh bloosky talking about special elections"), the race was nationalized by the end, with millions spent by the GOP.

Interesting note on the Davidson County election website (this is the county that includes Nashville):
"Per State law, election results are not made public until after the polls close and voters waiting in line at 7:00 p.m. [CT] have cast their ballot."
