In 2025, the EU imported €21.9 billion worth of Russian fossil fuels in addition to indirect imports of Russian oil refined by China. The US is considering more sanctions. Why is the EU still buying from Russia? Why potential sanctions still exist? Russia bombed Kyiv today August 10 died.

If there are still more sanctions that can be placed on Russia. Why hasn't it been done like three years ago? Is it true Europe is still buying oil from Russia? It's hard to believe the news anymore. If there still sanctions and if Europe is still buying Russian oil. How does that help Ukraine?

Ok. What I don't understand is why it is always the US that has to take the lead. I thought one of the reasons for the EU was to have a single voice on the world stage. Why can't Ursula the leader of the EU holds direct talks instead of waiting for Trumps phone call.

Read this on Zerohedge this morning. I can't believe this idea is actually being floated as end to the war. No nation would accept this huge loss of territory. Most of this land is still under Ukrainian control.

Civil War. News clips of ICE protest. Shows Mexican and other countries prominently. Is it wrong of the right to question the intent? To the right this validates their invasion narrative.

Civil War. The right's narrative is Coastal and Academic Elites don't get their hands dirty. (Martha's Vineyard got rid of migrants overnight) Did the left allow 20 million migrants in to be their foot soldiers? The rich finance the rest of us die. For someone's agenda. That's left and the right.

I watch both FOX and MSNBC. Sometimes flipping back and forth to see what they report on the same news. How can the same news items be reported so differently? When there was no cable news. Only the news was reported without commentary. I wonder do most people just pick a side now?

New to Bluesky. I'm non affiliated voter. I consider myself a moderate. I have voted for both Republicans and Democrats. After spending some time on this site. I wonder if someone like me is welcomed on Bluesky.
