NEW: Elections Calgary says 14,442 people cast a ballot on Day 1 of advance voting. That's about 1.6% of total eligible voters in the city.

To compare: 23,329 voted on Day 1 in 2021.

Advance voting is open in Calgary’s 2025 municipal election. Polling stations are open 10am-7pm each day. There are 42 polling stations including a vote bus open across the city. Advance vote runs until Oct 11.

NEW: Elections Calgary and Calgary Transit are bringing back the Vote Bus for the upcoming municipal election.

The bus will serve as a mobile polling station during advance voting (Oct 6-11) visiting 11 locations for Calgarians to cast a ballot.
