Ruben Dias put in a typical Ruben Dias performance against Liverpool and I know he has his detractors but I believe that Dias is back to his best so far this season and his performance last night was crucial to Manchester City's win.

I believe that Rayan Cherki and Nico O'Reilly could be important players for Manchester City against Liverpool.

Tomorrow's match seems suited to their strengths going forward, and O'Reilly will have an important role to play defensively should he start.

This Manchester City squad does seem to be built entirely differently from any other squad Pep Guardiola has had at his disposal.

City's last two matches have seen them not be as dominant in possession, but lethal going forward.

I thought Manchester City's attack against Dortmund was the most well-rounded it had looked this season. The constant remained with Haaland scoring, but other players look to be improving and stepping up.

Rayan Cherki was once again dazzling against Bournemouth after his impressive display against Swansea.

He is a one-of-a-kind player, although you can see what areas of his play need to improve which will come now he is fully fit.
