Canadian Yukon River Chinook salmon. ~25k returned last year and a similar forecast return for 2025. I’ve been the Sr fisheries biologist with DFO’s Yukon River salmon stock assessment team for 2.5 years and I’ve only seen and handful of these fish in that period.
