I admittedly was not a fan of SL and wish it had been different in a number of ways, but I also acknowledge it was shipped under difficult circumstances I can't possibly understand.

I empathize -- can't imagine how it feels to work that hard on something only for it to be critically panned.

Many are saying this.
If Gavin Newsom has no haters, I'm dead.
Alert BlueSky! There has been a massive troll attack spreading anti-Gavin Newsom propaganda and lies since yesterday. Swarms likely coming from a troll farm somewhere are already spreading information to try to weaken so far, one of the best candidates for 2028. 7-16

Always wondered if AD was as weird as MG is.

20 years ago when I first picked up WoW, housing was "that missing feature" for me that, had it been present, the game would've been absolutely perfect to me. I've maintained that view more or less the entire time.

Prolly don't need to tell you how much it means to me to finally have it. Thank you.

The misinformation about AddOns in has been especially exhausting for me tbh. I'm not even an AddOn dev but I feel like I'm taking crazy pills the way the community is reacting.

You'd think we're all gonna get banned just for having excel open in a 2nd monitor.

Not me finding out that Dick Cheney died 2 days after the fact from this tweet. 😭

Corporatization is a bit of a double-edged sword I think. Perhaps we've lost a little authenticity; not for me to say. I've felt that for other things.

But without that growth, folks like me might never have gotten their foot in the door. And I'd still rather be here than a much bigger company.🤷‍♂️

But, not trying to convince you of anything either (and I know you didn't ask anyway). Preferring LTX is valid and I'm glad you had such a good experience when you went.

Dunno if you were at the last one but I personally enjoy your content and wish I'd have had time to say hi if so.

The main reason LTX went away is because many of us internally just couldn't really handle the crunch / stress / lack expertise to run big events.

I think most of us miss it, but smaller events more often is a little more sustainable. Not entirely a corporate decision. Right decision? We'll see.
