that's a legit question: 3rd party code comes with 3rd party coding styles and bits you may not be able to change. I'll limit my gripe to in-house development :-)

oh I just wondered about the dev side if that was multiple game processes, 4 clients in the same process or multiple machines. At work we use parrel sync (unity)... pros and cons. At home all the clients run in the same process because I am lazy :-)

how are you doing your multiplayer testing?

I agree that this is unpleasant, but it's a natural degeneration of F2P. Devs have to keep the lights on and pay salaries. If the game is "free" there has to be some trade. Maybe it's ads or microtransactions. If anyone is doing a story game on mobile I would love to know your secret.
