Human who cares about other humans. Greater Boston. Engineer. Lover of sportsball (esp. football + basketball), beer, cars, and science. Oh and buffalo wings.
Same…but only if you replace ‘making enchiladas’ with ‘shoveling 15 inches of snow’.

The day Bailey was released by the Broncos in 2014 I was in Denver for work. I joked with my co-worker that I would probably see him at the airport, only to actually see him at the airport leaving Denver. Even shared an elevator…took everything I had to not say ‘we all know that was a touchback.’

It’s gotta be someone besides Joe who gets Pritchard to take a night off, right? Those guys seem to be of the same mindset with regards to this sort of thing. I feel like Brad would need to intervene.

I’m with you on this…despite it‘s ’hey this actually isn’t very complicated’ nature, ranked choice voting seems to trip people up. A 6-way parley on DraftKings?…easy to understand. But ranked choice voting…people act like you’re using quantum physics to decide an election.

Elizabeth Warren would be a terrible choice as a nominee…and I like Elizabeth Warren.

Pardon my language, but WTF!

Can’t believe I defended Golden in the past. Guy isn’t running again and his home area is directly in the cross hairs of ICE. Unconscionable vote.

You know who isn’t enthusiastic? Me. Guess I’m not watching Formula 1 for awhile.

Chris Murphy is my guy in 2028

When people say things like this (I agree btw) I always think of when Adlai Stevenson says something like “you’re in the courtroom of public opinion” in the movie Thirteen Days.

I don’t think he ever said that in real life(?), but what did you think of that movie?

Don’t usually rewatch games I’ve attended, but you’ve convinced me to record the (re)broadcast of the game. Will I have time to watch it? 🤷‍♂️

I am for New Englanders going #1 in two consecutive drafts.

Underrated personal AND professional qualities…does this person care about what they are doing (do they ‘give a shit’)? And do they show some humility (can they make jokes about themselves)?

One concern with expansion is talent dilution. Seems like the NBA is in a good place in that regard, right? Should absolutely be cautious…but seems like a go?

What’s been going on with the Knick’s recently? Looked like world beaters in Nov. - Dec.

His point about the bench guys deserving the same effort from him, when they are in, makes sense.

I am with you on Mark Kelly. He has certainly met the moment. In fact, I believe a Murphy/Kelly ticket would be great. Actually like both Senators from Arizona. Murphy/Gallego would be great too.

I was a Buttigieg guy until the fall. But for the reasons you list, and others, I am looking elsewhere. (Still like the guy obviously). Right now I like Chris Murphy.

I always felt like there was a missed opportunity in ‘The Fast the Furious’, aka Point Break with cars, to have the possibility that Brian O’Conner was actually Lance Harbor later in life. They already ~ had the possibility that Brian wasn’t his real name. Just needed some past football reference.

’Necessary Roughness’…that wouled be an interesting re-watch.
January 17, 2026 at 4:06 PM
Both. But if I had to choose? Wagons.

@mazdausa.bsky.social Mazda 6 wagon please.
