To be fair, original TMNT comics leaned more “grim dark”, but I think it was light hearted, teenage perspective rallying against a cruel world. Agreed. My biggest gripe with McKennie is we don't know which version we're getting from camp to camp, but if these performances from new guys can wake him up and give him an incentive to show up consistently every camp, I'm fully on board. He's arguably our best CM when he's locked in.

Coincidentally, his performance started to dip around the time he had a kid. Leaning into correlation and not causation, we often underestimate the monumental world-shift that comes with having kids, as well as the massive impact sleep deprivation has on everything.

Funny enough, I was at the Cinci/Por game, and laughed when Timber’s Army altered a chant to “F*#k Evander”. After a few minutes, I got this sinking sense of sadness. I realized he didn’t deserve it - that the Timber’s FO had successfully fooled us all and made him the villain. I regret that. #RCTID
