This behavior isn't unique to reddit. It happens on every platform that has the ability to report someone for suicide watch.

Posted this on Reddit and I've been getting reported for suicide watch all morning. For reference, people do this as a way of saying "kill yourself" without getting banned.

I can't imagine anything more pathetic than getting riled up about trans people literally just existing. Deeply cringe.
