It's the attribution of my qualms with the framing as unhinged that I am responding to. When so many journalists are threatened every day, the choice to identify my interpretation of the article as unhinged is quite disturbing.

Okay, I understand. But the question remains why we are still okay with the idea that the intelligence of Crockett can be called into question. The entire framing of the article is skewed towards an interpretation that casts her as already deficient in some way. Surely, this should be questioned.
