How's this? I mostly just fluffed it up a bit and changed it so that they experts of the time are less sure given they're working with fantasy medieval tech.

Alright! As I mentioned, executing on your character exactly was going to be quite difficult, but I tried to do my best to keep the spirit while simplifying the details a bit for me own sanity. Let me know what you think/what needs to be changed.

Oh! I'll have to look into that. In the Sims 3 Supernatural DLC there's an object you can get called the Philosopher's Stone that turns items into gold, however it has a chance to backfire and turn the sim using it into a gold statue of themself.
