In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy, staff and community members came together for a day of service—making 172 craft kits, 30 warming kits, 74 dog toys, 28 scarves, and 138 greeting cards for local organizations.

The Addison Public Library now offers The Palace Project app as an option for reading eBooks and listening to audiobooks!

The Palace Project replaces the Boundless app and includes the same collection of digital materials.

At December’s Board of Trustees meeting, we recognized staff members celebrating milestone work anniversaries in 2025, from 5 to 25 years of service.

Together, they represent 85 years of dedication to our library. 💙 Congratulations and thank you all for your incredible contributions!

Construction progress! 🚧 The support structure for our new stairs is in place! Take a look at how the staircase looks today compared to a rendering of what the finished stairs will look like.

There’s still more work to do before they’re ready to use, but it’s exciting to see them coming together!

Our stuffed animal friends had the BEST time at last week's Stuffed Animal Sleepover!

They went on big adventures—exploring the library, having snacks, making important phone calls, and even enjoying a bedtime story.
