As an English Cricket fan, I'm hoping that we get at least 2 hours of Brook and Smith batting together, in at least 3 Ashes Test Matches, because it will be carnage and a helluva lot of fun to watch. Watching the highlights I can see what Brook was doing today, and I like it.

Thoroughly enjoyed watching Mr Burton last night. Made a nice change to watch something on the BBC that doesn't involve Z-Listers having a bash at Arts and Crafts. I suppose the next talent show on the Beeb will be trying to unearth the new Leni Riefenstahl.

@skysportpl.bsky.social talking time wasting. It's very simple. Take the time off the referee and introduce a stadium clock that is stopped when the play stops, or the ball is out of play. A Hooter or Siren sounds at the end of each half. A countdown of 10-20 seconds as well.

To no surprise at all, English mediocrity was blown away by Australian superiority. It was coming. England have been getting away with it in this World Cup. No surprise that the batting lineup hasn't changed there's only 1 spare batter in the squad, but 3 bowlers carrying drinks. Bad squad.

If you want to organise a march, it has to be authorised by the local police because of security, safety etc. The decision to ban Israeli football fans is the correct one based on previous actions by them. No one batted an eyelid when Legia Warsaw fans were banned. Starmer is clueless.
