Dorky cinephile, aspiring filmmaker, Associate Producer of an actual dang upcoming film(!!), professional procrastinator. They/Them
The moment people try to turn it into a "this is how you should think" objective-concensus thing, the joy of talking about films die. And dies again and again and again.

What year are we in, is it still 2010 where only straight white American men should define what we get to enjoy? Screw this shit.

Films should be subjective and so long as a film isn't actively trying to promote actual harm towards innocent people or is actually exploiting anyone, then you're allowed to think how you feel.

Jim, you have enough money and so does your corporate overlords, this franchise can keep going. Over $1billion is still a LOT of goddamn money to get in return, good lord, haha.

The evils of the world have to stop. They have to end.

As peacefully and harmlessly to the rest of us as possible, the things that have to give HAVE to give.

No more. We're done. Any and all semblances of continued chances have to end. We have to move on and be better. As soon as possible.

I'm beginning to almost not care how this comes across, am I supposed to respond to a repeat of a situation 10 years ago with simple tolerance? I have my fucking limits, honestly.

I will live my life as best as I can for myself and those I care about, but I'm not going to say I'm not fed up neither

I hope Netflix and WB go with the partnership they mutually agree to enter.

I hope the worst people in the world's powers get stripped from them and destroyed.

I hope the lessons we should've learn't 10 years ago actually have a real effect, albeit belatedly.

The worst people HAVE TO BE STOPPED.

I refuse to accept the idea that it's okay that those people who already have everything they ever wanted yet still want to hurt and destroy things out of getting off on the use of power to not only get away with it, but for them to be unchallenged.

This has to be the year push back finally happens

I don't want to become a businessman in an effort to try and course correct this as its not in my nature or skillset...but you can bet I'd drop movies as a creative medium I'd wanna express through if this happens.

I hope Netflix win and looks after Warner Bros. well.

Greater dread than generative AI or shrinking theatrical windows would ever give me, even if the former bothers me a lot still.

Legit concerned that my aspirations as a filmmaker would never be fulfilled if Paramount's pissbaby behaviour gets rewarded. I'd never trust that landscape.
