#ourladyandstnicholas #church #wanlip which has so many colours in the stonework, especially on the sparklingly sunny day I drew it on. I have some reliable approaches to drawing churches but I like to play with angles and this has a more dramatic viewpoint than most I think! #Anglican #cofe

Deconstructing my sketchbook (which took me the years to fill with 90 drawings of local churches) for scanning. Really didn't want to but I'm the end I just did it. I think I can put it back together somehow! Getting high resolution scans so it'll be worth it!

I was made aware of a man who had terminal bowel cancer…
He wanted to be allowed to die
But this wasn’t an option
He ended up with a blockage that led to death via hours of faecal vomiting
His wife witnessed it all and now has PTSD
I support the assisted dying bill.

#stmatthew #church #Worthington which is quite unusual. Standing right on the main road of a quiet little village, I had to pitch my picnic chair in a driveway to get this view. Was invited in to the coffee morning and even though I was miles away it turned out I had taught someone's grandchild!
