The No Kings protests are important. Civil unrest and engagement is the only way those who govern pay attention.

I haven't heard anyone ask the obvious question about meta.

If meta knew it would benefit from a Trump win are we 100% certain they didn't influence the election?

We have already discovered they have recently suppressed certain democratic topics, searches and figures.

@mariannedgarbudde.bsky.social showed bravery, strength, poise and class with her plea to Trump.

This woman has given insight into what believing in a higher power is all about. If more strived to follow in her example - folks like me wouldn't shy away from religion.

Some woke up today angry over the current political decisions - I understand the sentiment; but with all due respect - the anger feel like an "entitlement" - if that's the right word.

In my mind anger implies there is options to share that anger with others, safely.

I woke up anxious and scared.

Friends are saying Facebook is automatically forcing their profiles to follow the next administration. 😳

I won't be dramatically impacted by the #TikTokBan; mainly because I've never really used it. A few friends have shared videos with me - but that is about it.

Security is important, but so is one's lively hood. Where would I be if the program I use to design was pulled away from me.

One idea I miss seeing in my daily feed is - the right to live freely and without being subject to harassment from the weak minded. I'm hoping @bsky.app is that safe haven.
