Serotonin boost because this week has been…well, let’s just say my in-laws may have their Thanksgiving invitation revoked. Their granddaughter’s husband is at risk to be deported and their response has been Fox News talking points. 🙄 Rocky has claimed the guest bed and now wears Carhart.

More puppy pics. He’s doing wonderful. We completed our training program. He loves evening cuddles and long walks on the beach.

We have come so far with this little guy. ❤️❤️ Training and medication as well as natural resources like probiotics and CBD have been amazing tools that haven proven effective and helpful.

What a morning. Here is a palate cleanser for you. Piranha dog in the shark “cone of shame”. He’s 5 days post surgery and doing well. Yesterday he had a few moments of reactivity. But he is at least giving us some signs so we can keep our fingers away from those sharp teeth!

We had our first training with the animal behaviorist. They’re great! We now understand little man is dealing with some sensory and anxiety issues. Buddy, you’re going to fit right in.

We have had some dog bites since getting welcoming our newest K9 family member. While not a great experience, we know it has to do a lot with our behavior and not understanding his. We’ve hired an animal behaviorist and we start training Monday. I’m learning about “consent to pet”. I still love him.

We have a nest of baby squirrels in the firewood. Looks like a total of 3! Every so often a little tail or paw is visible below the cover as they climb and bicker with their siblings.
