Most of them are white supremacists. White nationalism is the lifeblood of Alberta separatism. Their dislike of "Laurentian control" is just a euphemistic way of saying they detest non-European immigrants. Last but not least, they don't care about the Treaty Rights of First Nations in AB.

I literally see them yelling at German and French people online that they need to "clean up" their countries of "immigrants". Not a shred of self-awareness.

I live in France and monitor the English-language media from the region. Based on the comments they leave, I'd say a good 50% of the American expats living in Germany are pro-Trump. These MAGA scum are literally everywhere.

If every blue state governor ordered their NGs and police forces to arrest ICE agents, this mess would be immediately resolved.
If the regime escalates, withhold taxes to them.
There are so many things blue state governments could be doing other than pleading with the mafioso. Where's the spine?

I don't know, but certainly one of the measures being considered was to restrict or terminate US business investments in Europe. I'm guessing the CEOs 💩💩💩 their pants and talked to Vance/Trump. Europe should learn a lesson here that appeasement never works. Glad they chose a different approach.

I'm guessing some very rich people in the US finally got frightened and told him to back off of destabilizing their investments, thanks to the EU calling his bluff in threatening economic warfare. Force is the only thing that works on bullies, even indirectly.

In the 2008 financial crisis, US Treasuries were the safe haven for money, even more so than gold was. Today, it's gold first and probably German, Chinese and Canadian govt bonds second, with US bonds far down the list. The cause is fiscal recklessness against a wider backdrop of govt brinkmanship.
