Camera use after getting a puppy:

70%: taking photos of the pup.
30%: using it as a periscope to look around corners, under sofas and over tables to see what shenanigans she's up to, but without disrupting her naps if she's being angelic.

General Electric's LM6000 and LM2500 series -- both derived from the CF6 jet engine family -- have quickly become the default choice for AI developers looking to spin up serious power in a hurry. OpenAI's infrastructure partner, Crusoe Energy, recently ordered 29 LM2500XPRESS units to supply roughly one gigawatt of temporary generation for Stargate, effectively creating a mobile jet-fueled grid inside a West Texas field. Meanwhile, ProEnergy, which retrofits used CF6-80C2 engines into trailer-mounted 48-megawatt units, confirmed that it has delivered more than 1 gigawatt of its PE6000 systems to just two data center clients. These engines, which were once strapped to Boeing 767s, now spend their lives keeping inference moving.

To add to what CoY says, often these dogs or cats can be females used for breeding and then dumped once they're done or they get pregnant from the "wrong" male. Such ones often don't have a bad bone in them and will give you back twice the love you give them. Evidence attached! (Sadly, not our dog)

Last night's focaccia, got lucky with intercepting the rise before it over-proved. Wish I had the correct-sized tray for vertical edges but it doesn't matter, it tasted fine! #BreadSky

A close up of the left side of a car steering wheel. On the bit between the horn and the circular frame there are markings that suggest buttons though they're not raised above the surface. The first is for the headlights. Then there's a rotary ball of some sort. Then there's are two arrows, the top points right and the bottom points left, separated by a small tactile divider. I don't know if these buttons actually give feedback when pressed. If you've never driven, turn indicators are normally on a stalk behind the wheel which means they stay where they are whole you're turning. In this case if you want to indicate while the wheel is rotated, you're going to have to look at the wheel and figure out which button to press. It's Stupid with a capital S.

A grey and white kitty is fast asleep on a bed, but the photo has been taken from very close to her hind paw so you can see the toe bean and foot pad clearly while the rest of the body is indistinct. You can make it that her front paws are curled and that she has white patches on either side of her nose. The body is also shrimp-shaped. She's comfortable.

Forget stupid conspiracy theories, everyone please admire these cheese, chilli and chive scones I made today. They were GOOD.

A scone up front in a baking sheet with a few in the background. Apart from being scone-like it has a browned egg wash finish and cheese that has really popped up in the oven after baking. Flecks of green chives and red chilli can be seen. Same set of scones, eight in total, but now from slightly further back. They're a little smaller than palm sized. A container with a pastry brush and the leftover egg wash can be seen in the background

A logo of the Indian state broadcaster "Doordarshan" (pronounced duur durr shun) from many decades ago. It is an orange circle with the name in devanagari script surrounded by two orange teardrops that wrap around it forming another circle all on a black background. Below it the motto "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" meaning "the truth is as beautiful as God". This is a complete nostalgia trip for me, for the first few years of my life DD1 and DD2 were the only two channels we used to get. This is from the days where TV remotes were exotic technology - the late eighties in India.
