BBC News says "platforms must not host, share or permit content encouraging use of VPNs to get around age checks. The government told the BBC under the Online Safety Act, it will be illegal for platforms to do this."

How is "Free" from KPop Demon Hunters not the most streamed song from the soundtrack?

Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 recently and finally putting enough time in to get comfortable with it.

I'd forgotten how much I like these kind of worlds. Takes me back to Shadowrun, Deus Ex, Syndicate, Liberation: Captive 2, Bladerunner, etc.

Loving it so far!

Seems like Superman is the latest battleground between those who hate the world and everything in it (unless it looks, walks, talks and thinks like them) vs those who see positivity and hope.

Happy #DisabilityPrideMonth.

I have psoriasis. I try to downplay it, but it affects me, physically and mentally.

Some days it's just annoying. Other days it affects everything.

Disability Pride Month reminds me: not every disability is visible.

This Christmas I printed out a bit of paper that said "A night at the theatre - Any show, Any date", and gave it to my partner.

She loved it.

Hopefully she'll forget to redeem it. Cheapest Christmas present ever.

Out yesterday with my cousin, me and my eldest both had christmas jumpers on, while my cousin was wearing a Chucky t-shirt, holding up a big knife. I said, "At least the red [blood] is festive."

But it got me thinking.

A good christmas horror t-shirt idea?

Watched Red One at the weekend, there was a part of it that gave me strong Elden Ring vibes, and now I wanna play it again. Maybe I should get the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

When you think about it, Stonehenge was built at least 4000 years ago. That's like us building something now and it still being around in the year 6000AD. I can't imagine anything we'd build now which would/should be considered an ancient momument in years to come.

All these idiots moaning about the ugliness of their playable characters in their games, how would they have survived with Qbert and Ms Pac Man.

Watching a Hallmark Christmas movie and then remembered playing Lake: Season's Greetings last year. I'd love a game where I can just wander around a snowy town/village, meeting people.

Maybe I need to play Stardew Valley again.

You know "Twas the night before christmas"?

Well you've not heard it like this before!

"St Nick In The Bits" is a modern grime retelling of "A Visit from St. Nicholas," the classic Christmas poem by Clement Clarke Moore.

DMCA free, safe to stream, available on all platforms.

Big recommendation for A Man on the Inside", starring Ted Danson, written by Michael Schur (pairing them up again after The Good Place). A wonderful show about a man who goes undercover to investigate a theft in a care home. Sweet, sad, and funny, it is top tier comedy. Watch it on Netflix now.

If we replaced X with Bluesky, what are we replacing instagram with to be more like the old days where it was real people posting real stuff, and not influencers, brands and ads every oither post?

Just wanted my mum to view my shared screen on a call, so she could see and talk to me while we worked out some designs for something she asked for,

But now I'm remote connecting to HER screen, to make her PC work better, so she can view MY screen.

WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN

Half Life 2 is celebrating it's 20th anniversary, which means I must be close to my 20 year anniversary on Steam. Only signed up to register my store bought copy, I didn't really start buying games on steam for another 8 years, first online purchase through steam was 2012.
