I added the foam more as a noise dampening measure, but I'm sure it helps with the rigidity too. I may have gone a little overboard on the mounting, but I think I could host a tapdancing competition on top of this. 😅

Thanks! It's been a bitch! 😅 Took me a while but I found 9mm straight pieces of iron that I lay in the track (I use flexi track), then a 2 meter straight edge next to them. It doesn't come out /perfect/ but close enough.
