I still have the programme as a memento (which I've scanned as I've posted it elsewhere). I can't really remember anything outside of the main event or the Hanzo Nakajima match though.

The funny thing is, despite me taking photos, I never even got the film developed 😂😂

I was one of the first people to start surrounding the ring. For some reason I decided I was Bill Apter and went up to the apron and started to take photos. I was surprised when nobody prevented me from doing so, then more people started doing it and, finally, everyone was surrounding the ring.

After listening to this episode, I decided to listen to the first episode of the UWA side-project and learned that the first wrestling event I attended was the same as @kieranedits.bsky.social

I prefer Shark to Dyson. Obviously, I have no idea how Shark is funded or in which country their tax liabilities reside, I just think Dyson's are way overrated for their price point.

A similar scheme was in place after Kip Allen Frey took charge of WCW in 1992, and, in some lucha matches where the participants are seen to have excelled, fans throw money into the ring to show their appreciation. So it's not a new concept.

They would be called Flat Marsers, I guess.

Quite refreshing to see an image like this without all the "where are all the stars in the background" and the other nonsense suggesting some sort of fakery.
