Lifelong lefty.
Trump has moved swiftly to replace much of the military leadership, but there really aren’t enough experienced leaders sympathetic to his agenda to fill all the slots. As the old US Marine recruitment ads once said, all it takes is a few good men (people)!

RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!

And so, as many coup d’états do, this slow moving one may come to a point where the military must decide who it’s with, the people or the government.

What is happening in Caribbean and Eastern Pacific is clearly illegal, even without the revelation of the horrible execution through a ‘double tap’ of the two men who survived the first strike on September 1.

Karoline Leavitt, Press Secretary and key propagandist, insists that “there are no illegal orders” in responding to the 6 congressional Democrats who issued a video reminding military members that they are obligated to not follow illegal orders.

If he fails, it will surprise no one if he turns to a military rule option, something he has threatened many times.

Which brings us to yet another lie.

Trump continues to try to subvert the midterm elections, (a thank you to Indiana’s GOP for standing up to the regime), hoping to be able to continue to disregard the congressional branch of government and move forward unimpeded with the agenda.

15/
December 14, 2025 at 7:52 PM
The lies are a means to that end; it is a delusional narrative projected by those in power in order to suppress your ability to discern truth, to disorient America while they rebuild the ‘government’ to serve their own ends.

...even the white, Christian ethno-state they are promoting will ultimately be rendered powerless when no longer useful. It is a new social contract, imposed upon Americans, and agreed by no one but the few who are reaping its rewards.

December 14, 2025 at 7:52 PM
What it really is about is generating a rationale, albeit false to any thinking person, to support the replacement of American norms with something else, something that ultimately benefits a select and favoured few, serially disenfranchising all the ‘others’, group by group –

Soybean farmers, openly betrayed by Trump, appear to be among this group.

So what is the point?

...though it must be said there is significant population that seem to embrace willful ignorance, choosing not to know because that would mean thinking for themselves rather than gleefully ingesting the reinforcing pablum served up by the regime and disseminated through compliant media.

Tylenol causes autism. Undocumented immigrants are criminals. And so on.

It’s not that anyone necessarily believes any or all of it, not even the stubborn third or so of Americans who somehow continue to support the regime –

Lies are fundamental to the regime. Prices are falling. Tariffs are not a tax. Ukraine invaded Russia. Donald Trump is in good health and cognitively sharp. Little boats in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific are an imminent threat to America. Vast amounts of drugs are coming from Venezuela.

In regards to Antifa, they are not simply tilting at windmills, they are undermining the very idea of free speech and building a sophisticated database the function of which is to stifle dissent and identify the most effective voices.

One way of the other, this false narrative is just part of a superstructure of misinformation the Trump administration is building to subvert long-standing norms of American society.

Does anyone , including Glasheen, truly believe that Antifa is the leading domestic terrorism threat in the United States? I doubt it, but in a sense it doesn’t matter.

6/
December 14, 2025 at 7:52 PM
...in other words, ‘Antifa” is a convenient way of grouping many disparate organizations and movements, the only common thread of which is they are anti-fascist (begs the question what, then, does one call the political groups and movements that fall outside of the anti-fascist category? Oh…).

5/
December 14, 2025 at 7:52 PM
That’s because there really is no such organization. According to Wikipedia, Antifa (why does my autocorrect insist it is capitalized?), “…is a highly decentralized array of autonomous groups in the United States”;

When questioned regarding the location of its headquarters, and the size of its membership, however, Glasheen could provide neither.

December 14, 2025 at 7:52 PM
This past Thursday, Michael Glasheen, operations director of the FBI’s National Security Branch, testified before a congressional hearing that Antifa is the biggest domestic terrorism threat in the United States.
